vim的配置文件~/.vimrc添加如下内容

set shiftwidth=4    " Indents will have a width of 4

set softtabstop=4   " Sets the number of columns for a TAB

set expandtab       " Expand TABs to spaces

显示编辑文件中的TAB

在编辑文档时，文档中包含tab往往无法分辨，在vim中可以定义显示特殊字符的方法：

set list
set listchars=tab:>-

此时，如果文档中有tab符号，则会显示成>---，便于检查。
